The LOVE YOUR BRAIN! World Map
THE BRAIN THAT CHANGED THE WORLD (is yours) is a multi-media Participatory and Interactive Art project created by artist and mental health advocate John Schlimm. It was inspired by his other ongoing multi-media project THE SMILE THAT CHANGED THE WORLD (is yours).
On July 15, 2025, John debuted a new Participatory/Interactive Art project as part of THE BRAIN… series at the Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library in Emporium, Pennsylvania. Other installations have followed.
Inspired by Yoko Ono’s Imagine Peace rubber stamp installations and titled The LOVE YOUR BRAIN! World Map, participants were invited to use custom-made rubber stamps and an array of bright inks to stamp the words “LOVE YOUR BRAIN!” all over a map of the world.
The purpose ofThe LOVE YOUR BRAIN! World Mapis to remind each participant and viewer tothink about their brains and that their unique brains, talents, skills, interests, dreams, imaginations, and creativity have the potential to change the world and make it a better place for everyone.
