Creation and installation of the participatory and interactive sculpture titled Smiles to the Sky: THE SMILE THAT CHANGED THE WORLD (is yours) 3-D.

At this free interactive drop-in event, each participant of any age will be invited to create their unique smile on a die-cut disk that will then be incorporated into a larger 3-D art piece representing how a smile can change the world for each one of us. Each person will then be given a self-affirmation word art piece to take home with them that reads: “The smile that changed the world is mine!”

Since 2014, John has installed THE SMILE THAT CHANGED THE WORLD (is yours) as a participatory and interactive mural around the country, inviting thousands of people of all ages and walks of life to add their smiles. “Smiles to the Sky” at Laughing Owl Press will be the first 3-D edition of the project.
